Updating or modification of terms and conditions
The Capitol Apartments may at any time and without notice or liability to Users amend, revise or update these Terms and Conditions by posting revised Terms and Conditions on the Site. Your continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of these revised Terms and Conditions.
Transactions
All transactions are processed in Australian Dollars (AUD). All credit card transactions are processed using 128 Bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. We do not accept cash payments.
Cancellations
Cancellation/No Show Policy Cancellations or changes to bookings must be made at least 48 hours prior to the check in date and time (based on 2pm arrival). If 48 hours prior notice is not provided, or for no shows, the entire booking amount will be payable.
Valid Credit Card
You must show a valid photo ID and credit card upon check-in.
Credit Card Fees & Payments
We now have a 2% surcharge on all credit cards (Visa, MasterCard and AMEX only).
Please note our office hours are: Monday to Friday: 8am until 6pm | Weekend: 9:30am until 3:30pm. Public holidays reception times may vary, please contact us 07 3844 5800. If you anticipate arriving after office hours please let us know so that afterhours instructions can be forwarded by email closer to your arrival date. If you anticipate arriving earlier than the 2.00pm check in time please note that we cannot guarantee that the apartment will be available, however we will store your luggage until such time that the apartment becomes available.
As we are serviced apartments please note that a start-up pack of amenities are provided on arrival only.
Capitol Apartments Facilities Policy
All common areas including the Swimming Pool/Gym areas are used at the risk of the guest. Children under the age of 16 who are under the responsibility of the guest are only permitted to use the Swimming Pool and Gym whilst under direct adult supervision.
A party being defined as: Any situation where the maximum number of guests allowed per apartment is exceeded. Any situation where the noise level from the apartment is deemed that excessive intoxication is occurring Any situation whereby excessive traffic to/from the apartment is identified. Any situation where it is identified that excessive alcohol is present.
In the event that any apartment/guest is identified as having a party, the hotel reserves the right to immediately request all occupants of the apartment up to, and including, the guest who has registered for the apartment to vacate the premises.
In the event that an eviction does occur, the registered guest will be charged for that night’s accommodation and for any expense resulting from additional cleaning of the apartment, replacement of any furniture/fixture/fitting breakage, as well as for any required repairs.
Alcohol on the Premises
The Capitol Apartments will not allow excessive levels of alcohol to be brought on to the hotel property. Guests, visitors or any members of the public will be requested to either relinquish the alcohol to the hotel for storage until departure, or alternatively management will request that the alcohol is permanently removed off the premises.
Additional actions that may result in Eviction
The Capitol Apartments reserves the right to immediately evict any guest, visitor or member of the public for the following reasons, but not limited to:
Consequences of Eviction
In the event that an eviction of any nature occurs, the registered guest, their associates and visitors, will not be able to make future reservations at The Capitol Apartments & South Central Apartments. Should the guest fail to adhere to this request to leave premises the matter will be handed to the police.
*Any person under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult during their stay.
