The day includes live entertainment at Cycling Festival Village, Green Power Brisbane City Lights, kids cycling workshops, BMX, film nights, the annual Gala Luncheon and more!

Kingdom of Beers Brisbane Showgrounds

At the Brisbane Showgrounds, don’t miss the inaugural Kingdom of Beers beer festival this March, set to bring together over 20 of Australia’s top breweries for a full day of beer tasting, entertainment and, of course, mouthwatering food.

Kingdom of Beers will have over 100 award-winning brews to sample under one roof, providing a free beer cup on entry with live music from Ziggy McNeill, a top-notch spread of food vendors and festivities including inflatable jousting, giant Jenga and more. Round up your drinking mates for this unmissable autumn beer festival in Brisbane on Saturday, March 7.

World Science Festival Brisbane

Coming to South Bank, World Science Festival 2020 will take over for five days of curated special guest talks, street stalls, interactive workshops, exhibits and more. The Festival celebrates science, art and education in none other than Brisbane’s Cultural Centre: the home of Queensland Museum and Sciencentre, Queensland Art Gallery and GoMA.

While set for six locations across Queensland, Brisbane hosts the main festival program, which, last year, attracted more than 200,000 visitors. Captivating, educational and inspiring for all ages, make sure to head to Southbank for 2020 Brisbane World Science Festival from March 25 to March 29.

Penn & Teller QPAC

If you missed them this January, Penn and Teller are returning to Queensland Performing Arts Centre in April for a second run. Across five consecutive nights, catch the mind-blowing duo perform world-class magic, vanishing feats and trademark sleight of hand live on stage, pulled straight out of their sought-after Las Vegas stage show with nothing left behind.

This performance run will mark Penn and Teller's second string of dates in Brisbane on what is also their first-ever Australian tour - catch this internationally revered duo at QPAC South Bank from April 7 to April 11.

Anzac Day Parade 2020

For the 104th anniversary, Anzac Day Parade will be held once again in the Brisbane CBD to honour and remember Australian and New Zealand soldiers who fought and died at Gallipoli in World War I.

This parade will see veterans, soldiers, their families and other groups march through Brisbane’s ANZAC Square starting at Adelaide Street, following an early morning service at the Shrine of Remembrance. Join the public commemoration, welcoming all to watch and take part on Monday, April 25.

NRL Magic Round Suncorp Stadium

Over three action-packed days at Suncorp Stadium, NRL Magic Round returns with 16 top NRL teams going head-to-head for Round 8 of the 2020 Telstra Premiership.

Not to be missed for hardcore fans, this annual NRL spectacular takes over Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium with a full weekend of back-to-back fixtures, offering both day passes and weekend passes for spectators looking to soak up all nine games. Reachable in just a 3-minute drive from our accommodation near Suncorp Stadium, get ready for NRL Magic Round 2020 on May 1, May 2 and May 3.

Brisbane Street Art Festival 2020

Held citywide over two weeks, Brisbane Street Art Festival guarantees nonstop excitement in the city streets this May. Ready to transform Brisbane into a creative hub of live outdoor art, thought-provoking exhibitions, artist workshops, public performances and festival parties.

Following last year’s successful program, expect famous artists at 2020 Brisbane Street Art Festival, once more celebrating national and international artists with everyone welcome to attend, learn and express their creative side. Brisbane Street Art Festival returns to Brisbane CBD, Fortitude Valley, South Bank and more on May 2 until May 17.

Anywhere Festival Brisbane

Arriving in May alongside Brisbane Street Art Festival, Anywhere Festival will bring more excitement to Brisbane for its 10th anniversary, where famous precincts, streets and outdoor locations across Brisbane will come alive with daily theatre performances for all to watch.

Anywhere Festival, held annually in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, aims to take theatre out of the venues and into the streets, showcasing Queensland’s up-and-coming stars and opening theatre up to a broader public audience.
