Enjoy a six-hour nature cruise to Moreton Bay Marine Park where you can see dolphins whilst having lunch!
This is your chance to embark on an adventure on a 50-foot (150-metre) catamaran cruising to Moreton Island. There will be snacks and morning tea served whilst onboard the catamaran.
Upon arrival at the island, you will have a chance to go to the Tangalooma Wrecks or Flinders Reef. This is subject to weather conditions. Here, you can have an optional one-hour snorkeling tour.
The Tangalooma Wrecks were formed from ships that were scuttled to create a breakwater. These were then made into habitats by colourful corals and sea creatures. On the other hand, Flinders Reef is the only coral reef near Brisbane. These are both excellent snorkeling sites with many biodiversity to see.
There will be a chance for the most exciting part of the cruise in the afternoon. You will be able to scout and observe bottlenose dolphins, loggerhead turtles and endangered dugong (sea manatees) during the wildlife discovery cruise.
Depending on the season, you may be able to see humpback whales during their annual migration. This usually occurs between June to November.
A buffet lunch will also be served that will include fresh seafood, chicken and more!
There will be down-time after lunch to relax on the beach or explore the sand dunes in the area.
Then, once the wildlife cruise is done, you will be on your way back to the mainland.
